Heather is a registered professional home organizer in Kingston, Ontario. As a member of the Professional Organizers in Canada, she has completed various home organization courses that will benefit her clients. In 2019 she will write the POC Trained Professional Organizer Exam.
Heather has lived and worked in the Kingston area for more than 30 years. She grew up in the country where she gained practical life skills that are deeply rooted in tradition. Her design and organizing interests began by sketching floor plans in her youth, and continued into design and trade school at St. Lawrence College. Now a Queen’s alumna, Heather has successfully negotiated multi-million dollar contracts for her clients.However, her interests and capabilities reach well beyond the paper.
Heather is a passionate volunteer who has devoted her time to the Kingston Police Community Volunteers, Victim Services and Big Brothers Big Sisters. As a planning committee member with Habitat for Humanity - Kingston Limestone region, she aided in organizing a single charity event that raised over $18,000.
In her spare time, Heather enjoys re-designing, coordinating, and completing home renovation projects and spending time with her family, friends and her adorable cat. She also enjoys researching new organization techniques and planning methods and watching HGTV.
Through Bowtie Services, Heather offers a wealth of expertise to her clients. From family dinner parties and weddings, to home organization, she treats each clients’ project with the same care and concern as if it were her own. Heather believes that people are more likely to keep their home organized if they have systems in place that make it easier to do so, and that people are more likely to remember an event that is successfully organized and stress free.
